The memo from last Friday says the attack is planned for early March.

The reports show 11 highly trained al Shabaab fighters have been deployed to Kenya to target JKIA and Wilson airport in Nairobi and the Moi International Airport in Mombasa.

The terrorists are expected to pose as passengers on local flights and then blow themselves up when the aircraft is preparing to land or take off.

The Kenya Airports Authority internal memo is signed by security manager Eric Kiraithe for the Managing Director.

"Five operatives will target Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Wilson Airport, while the rest will focus on airports at the Coast, among them Moi International Airport in Mombasa,” the memo by Kiraithe says.

Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet recently warned intelligence reports indicate al Shabaab is keen on attacking vital security installations and soft targets in Northeastern.
