Initiative by the federal education ministry is aimed at centralizing national school examinations which has been decentralized by the civil war for the past two decades.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud government has encouraged education through its "go to school” project that enrolled thousands into schools mainly in the major cities like Mogadishu.
