Fakhrul picked up from home in late October Khasru arrested couple of days later The police have sought 10 days to question BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury in custody in a case filed at Paltan police station over sabotage, and the court concerned will hold a hearing on the matter on Monday. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shah Alam of Paltan model police station court registration branch provided this information on Sunday. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch (DB) picked up Fakhrul from his home in Gulshan on October 28, and he was produced in court on October 29. Later, the Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka rejected his bail and ordered him to be sent to jail. Detectives arrested Khasru at his home in Gulshan late on November 2.
