 At least five people were killed and about six others injured in a bomb attack in Mogadishu Saturday morning.

Police spokesman Adan Doodishe said Banaadir regional police chief Farhan Mohamud Qaroole survived the attack which reportedly targeted his convoy.

 

"The commander is safe, and despite the casualties caused by the explosion at the Banadir intersection in Mogadishu," Doodishe said.
