INVITATION FOR TENDER IFT issue Date: 12th October, 2015 Reference: SPF/001/2015 Tender name: Supply and Delivery of Foodstuff to the Somali Police Force

The ministry of finance now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified candidates for supply and delivery of Foodstuff to the Somali Police Force in Mogadishu.

Tender documents containing detailed specifications can be obtained from the procurement office at the Ministry of Finance between 8:30AM to 2:00PM

Candidates must prove that they qualify to participate in public procurement method in providing the following documents or evidences:

1. Certificate of company registration, certificate issued by the ministry of commerce.

2. A declaration of certificate that the candidate have fulfilled the obligation to pay taxes a valid tax compliance certificate must be attached

3. An abstract of the candidates accounts for the last (2) two years 2013and 2014 accompanied by a bank statement for the last 12 months.

4. The supplier should have minimum three years of experience in the commodities industry, particularly agricultural commodities.

5. The winning supplier will be directed with few distribution allocations required by the user department (Police Force Logistics Department)

Bidding will be conducted using the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method. Bids must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of tender opening. The completed tenders in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked "Tender Number SPF/001/2015 for Supply and Delivery of foodstuffs” for the Somali Police Force shall be addressed to the procurement department, ministry of finance at villa Somalia, Mogadishu not later than 25^th October 2015.

The bidders MUST comply with all the instructions and rules of the tender and particularly to ensure that all the forms required are properly completed.

 

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter the deadline, in the presence of tenders’ representatives who choose to attend the bid opening meeting 26^thOctober at 10:00AM in the ministry of finance procurement office.

Interested bidders must deliver their bids in written form to the address below (in person, or by mail) not later than 25^thOctober 2015 at 2:00PM. Late bids will be rejected. Please make sure you address your bids at the following address provided below:
