"The PM pledged to fight corruption and boost revenue collection," a tweet from the PM read in part. Transparency International has for over a decade now ranked Somalia the most corrupt nation in the world in company of South Sudan and North Korea. The Cabinet this week endorsed a $671 million budget for the 2021 financial year; rising from $470 million in 2020. Out of these, the government banks on international donors to finance more than half as it projects a domestic revenue of $260 million.
